The piece

A 0.56 carat lab-grown center inside 0.40 carats of natural diamond, cut as a heart at roughly half an inch, on 14K gold at 3.40 grams. Hearts are the shape most often built badly. The two lobes have to mirror each other and the point has to sit dead center under the cleft, and at half an inch there is no scale to hide a drift of even half a millimeter.
